Imagine that you are one of the animals listening to Squealer's speech in chapter five when he says, "No one believes more firmly than Comrade Napoleon that all animals are equal. He would only be too happy to let you make your decision for yourselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where will you be?" Write a detailed response stating what you think about Squealer's reasoning.
Because Squealer represents propaganda, I believe he is just spreading false lies to quench the rage of the animals. Secretly, he is actually helping Napoleon gain power and become a dictator by saying that Napoleon is worried the animals would make the wrong decisions, so Napoleon should make their decisions for them. Squealer is trying to justify Napoleon's unjust grab for power.

Blog Post #3
In the novel, Animal Farm, the pigs are supposed to be intelligent animals. Should intelligence be the primary qualification for leadership? What other qualities are important for a leader to have? How did you select the leader for your group in the Animal FarmSociety Challenge? Did any of these qualities play a part in your selection process? Write in complete sentences and post to YOUR blog.
I believe intelligence is one of the many qualifications for leadership. Other important qualities for a leader to have is honesty, confidence, commitment, positive attitude, and ability to inspire. We seleceted our leader from our group by their display of most, but not all of these qualities.

In my life, I believe there are many things to be thankful for, such as family, friends and life. To begin with, I would like to thank my family and especially my parents for raising me and encouraging me in everything I do. They have nurtured me and have allowed me to grow to be the person I am today. I am also thank for my friends. They put up with my shenanigans and awkwardness. I would also like to be thankful for life. To be able to live through the varieties of lifetime experiences and emotions is an important thing to be thankful for. I am grateful for being alive and able to live. In conclusion there is much to be thankful for especially in this time of year.
